Pen and Pencil Box

Pen and Pencil Box with lever action lid. Made from walnut and the base is beech wood. The miter spline keys are balsa wood. The light coloured box is made from obeche (African maple). Both have a piece of burgundy red velour paper on the base to give a suede look. Used David Freedman’s Box Making Basics book as a reference.
